a) Web Hosting & Website Provision

  • Purpose: Secure and reliable provision of the website
  • Data: Usage and communication data (e.g., IP address, browser type, access times)
  • Legal Basis: Technical necessity (§25(2) TTDSG) and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  • Recipients: Hosting providers, SSL and CDN providers. 

       Hosting is provided by Jimdo GmbH, Stresemannstraße 375, 22761 Hamburg, Germany.

       To ensure the secure and fast delivery of the website, a Content Delivery Network (CDN) 
       provided by Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA is used. In 
       this context, personal data, in particular IP addresses, may be transmitted to Cloudflare.

  • Transfer: Processing generally takes place within the EU/EEA. If data is transferred to third countries (e.g., USA), this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Retention: See Section III

b) Contact Forms & Smart Forms

  • Data: Name, email address, message content, timestamp, IP address
  • Purpose: Processing of inquiries and pre-contractual communication
  • Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries)
  • Recipients: Hosting and email service providers
  • Retention: The data will be deleted once the inquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

c) Captcha

  • Purpose: Prevent spam on forms
  • Legal Basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))
  • Data: IP, browser, access times
  • Retention: 7 days

d) Online Shop Orders

  • Data: Name, address, email, order details
  • Purpose: Order confirmation & payment

  • Purpose: Improve website & content
  • Data: Pseudonymized usage data, truncated IP address
  • Legal Basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))

g) Social Media (Instagram, Facebook) & Google Plugins

  • Consent Requirement: Blocked until user agrees via cookie banner
